Final Mock Drafts - B&I Eagles

Welcome to Philly Sports Internationals' final British and Irish Eagles Mock for the 2025 Draft!

If you're anything like us, you will have been playing around with PFF or other draft simulators for the last couple of months and now it's time for myself (Liam), Mik, Phill and Tony to show you all our final drafts. We'd love to hear your feedback about which one is your favourite or let us know who your draft crush is - 4 days!!

Liam’s Mock

Liam's Mock Draft

Day 1: Howie Moves Up!

At 6.4 248 pounds Mike Green is fast, big and strong - with some serious twitch and a sudden step. Howie sees Green falling and with the Vikings only having 4x picks in this year's draft he strikes! Moving up from pick 32 to pick 24 and loading up two 5th round picks in the barrel before shooting them over to Minnesota! The Eagles biggest need is Edge with Sweat away in Free Agency and Brandon Graham retiring. Even with the free agent pickups, the Eagles need juice here and at safety more than anywhere on the field.

Green had a PFF rating of 90 and 92 in his only two starting seasons at Marshall University - with 17 sacks in 2024. Green and Smith might be the two most boring names when paired together, but the thought of them both hunting down opposing quarterbacks certainly excites me!

Day 2: Another Howie Steal?

As I mentioned above, Safety and Edge are the Eagles biggest needs and what a steal this pick could turn out to be for the Birds. Kevin Winston Jnr is one of the best safeties in the class if his 2023 tape is anything to go by. According to PFF the Maryland native was the only safety in the nation with 85.0-plus grades as a run defender and in coverage that year.

An elite tackler and great in coverage, he has all you need to stand alongside Reed Blankenship in the Eagles secondary. We know Howie likes to capitalise on players falling down the draft and I see this being a similar pick up to Dickerson, who like Winston Jnr fell down the draft due to ACL injuries.

Howie’s only other move on day two is to grab one of those 5th rounds back by moving back 7 spots with the titans.

Day 3: Moving Day

It’s time to fire those draft pick cannons, as howie starts shooting his pistols with all these day three bullets. As if this draft couldn’t get any better, Howie uses pick 103 from his trade with the titans to select the consensus TE2 In Harold Fannin Jnr. Talked up by Mik the beard on one of his early Road to the Draft podcasts for British and Irish Eagles, the Bowling Green standout fulfills the Eagles third main position of need. With Goedert seemingly likely for the exit door with his $14m cap hit, coupled with his littered injury history, Howie gets his replacement in. Expect Harold to eat up YAC yards when he settles into Midnight or Kelly Green.

With pick 134 Howie gets Stoutland some O-line help with undersized Willie Lampkin from North Carolina. At 5.11 he’ll likely look like a dwarf next to the rest of the Eagles O-line, but his stats and ratings far outweigh his size. Lets see what Stout can get out of this fearless guard, whose spirit is unquestioned and technique is exquisite.

At pick 141 received in the titans trade, Howie gets another WR for the camp with big upside in Kyle Williams from Washington State. Fast feet and versatility are his traits, being able to line up in any of the three receiver positions. Could the Eagles have found their slot guy?

In round 5 Howie then picks up some Interior D-line help with the hope that at least one of these guys makes the roster. Ty Robinson from Nebraska keeps falling to me in drafts, and Cam’Ron Jackson out of Florida State is good value at pick 181 and could replace Jordan Davis with his 6ft.6 frame in the gap, if Davis does in fact move on next year.

Finally Howie, Howie can’t believe his luck with 87.5 rated Safety R.J Mickens falling to him at pick 214. The fourth highest graded safety in the draft in 2024. I’m not sure this one happens in real life - but this is how it all fell.

Mik's Mock

Day 1: Don't stay still

The Eagles have a clear need at the Edge position and a top-prospect like James Pearce Jr is a worthy selection as a trade-up candidate. The Eagles currently hold 4x fifth round picks and Howie has no hesitation to load two in the chamber to a familiar trade partner in Houston. JP Jr has all the tools in his body to excel at the next level after 2 dominant seasons in Tennessee with 8 sacks on 55 pressures in 2024 and 13 sacks in 52 pressures the previous year. There are some character concerns, however the Eagles are a franchise who can mold this young man and steer him in the right direction.

Day 2: Howie is working the phones

Yet again and the Eagles trade back at the end of the 2nd to double dip in the third and fourth rounds. We fill a need at the defensive interior, as well as a future offensive tackle for coach Stout to work his magic with. Both of these prospects have visited the Novacare Complex during the 30-visits, you can read more about each of them here

Day 3: Backfill the bench

Not as much movement on trades, however the Eagles find themselves with 4 picks and use them up on prospects who they have scouted through the process, whilst backfilling the bench. CB Cobee Bryant,  a feisty CB with a slender build who has that dog in him. Bryant has a playmaker ability with 4 INTs in 2024 and 10 PBUs. Next off the board is LB Barrett Carter (who I also covered in Ep2 of Road to the Draft) - reunited with his former team mate, Trotter Jr. The two-time ALL-ACC linebacker racked up an impressive 82 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, 3.5 sacks and 7 PBUs in 2024. As we enter the fifth round the Eagles spend their last two picks. Firstly on G Dylan Fairchild (it wouldn't be a draft without selecting a Bulldog!) the Guard from UGA has been in the building and if Stout likes him? I like him. Next up is TE Jackson Hawes who is a bit of an older prospect at 24. Jackson is an excellent in-line TE who excels in blocking schemes. This isn't a Goedert replacement, think more Jack Stoll.

Phill’s Mock

I really thought PFF would have liked this more. It is one of my favourite mock drafts so far, combining need with a few exciting talents and a vanity pick for good measure!

Day 1:

Addressing the greatest need in Edge with Nic Scourton falling to 32 consistently for me.

He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds - even bigger than Liam’s pickup in Mike Green. That size means he can operate across the line.  4i DE to a 7-tech OLB. He has a strong upper body and has a wide range of pass rush moves, with finesse as well!. For me, the perfect pickup here at 32 to replace Sweat

Day 2:

I then pivoted to my favourite safety and quite possibly my favourite player in the draft. S Andrew Mukabu from Texas, and this guy is a ball hawk. Something we desperately need to fill CJGJ’s shoes. He had 5x INT and allowed no touchdowns last year. He was also 4th in QBR rating allowed and allowed less than 50% completion percentage in coverage. I’m very happy with these two pickups. In the third round I picked up Harrold Fannin Jnr just like Liam - check his piece out for those stats!

Day 3:

Jalen Rivers is an exciting Tackle to come in and play guard early or sit and learn from the maestros. At 6.5 320 pounds he has the size that Stoutland likes to play with. Probably no more than a rotational piece if needed with his ceiling limited by athleticism, but who knows what stout can do. Another bulldog edge and ‘Bama Safety for the pedigree and developmental back up aspect before bolstering the defensive line with top late round prospect in TyRob. Rounding off with a WR pick from my beloved VT to satisfy a depth WR piece and finally pick a VT player!”

Tony’s Mock

Day 1

While PFF might have liked the outcome, I’m not altogether sure I’ll be delighted if the draft closes on Sunday night and we’re left with the picks I got in my mock. I’m desperate for Walter Nolan, the big All American DT from Ole Miss, to fall far enough for Howie to work his magic and move up to get him.  I think he’ll go somewhere between picks 18 and 24 (if not before), so the Vikings being short of picks this year makes a great partner – they load up on some extra 2025 bullets and the Eagles get Nolan.

Alas, that never happened for me and as seems to be the case in every mock I’ve done, Nic Scourton, the Edge from Texas A&M was available.  I won’t be unhappy if this pans out on Thursday night, but just not as excited as Phill is, I would  be if we were to make a bigger move by trading up!

Day 2

In round 2 Kevin Winston Jr, a safety from Penn State fell nicely into my lap.  Despite a season ending knee injury in 2024, Winston Jr is getting a lot of interest from the usual NFL talking heads.  A potential replacement for CJGJ, a local lad, a rangy 6’ 2” baller and at just 21, a lot of years ahead of him.

Day 3

Effectively a pick swap with the Dolphins saw me dropping a couple of spots in the third to move up 18 places in the fourth.  Using that late 3rd from the Dolphins and with nothing on the board I felt was of good enough value, particularly as a need, the Jets benefitted and I picked up a couple of their picks – an early 4th and an early 5th.  It was with that early 4th that I pulled the trigger and doubled down on the Edge position taking UCLA star Oluwafemi Oladejo, quickly following that up with the highly rated WR from Washington State in Kyle Williams.

With Ty Robinson, a DI out of Nebraska and Jackson Hawkes (TE, Georgia Tech – who I think was pretty harshly treated by PFF with the grade I got for him!), my picking was done and I began to load up on picks for 2026……..to add to the haul we already have for next year.

Well that rounds out our four Mock Drafts. Let us know what you think in the comments we’d love to discuss these more with you!
